EofUs works in collaboration with many HU3 people and organisations. These collaborations grow out of conversations and respond to emerging ideas. One such idea is a working partnership with Western Library. A strong, elegant presence on Boulevard with its books, well equipped garden, helpful staff, safe warm space, computers suites….and given our ethos ‘to create congenial spaces for everyone in which good things happen’ working here makes total sense.
Together the Library and EofUs are imagining a photography, film and print centre [which utilises the atrium and upstair rooms] given the prevalence of photography as an important medium on the area. This centre, embedded with the right conditions, would showcase co-produced exhibitions of photographic work made in and about HU3, support artists in residence to work alongside locals and a range of training and workshops for all. Boulevard Academys photography dept and Chiltern Primary School will also be involved.
